Artisan Panettone with sour Cherries and Ratafia

This panettone was born from the encounter between our pastry and the liquor factory and has become a great classic of Artemisia; it is filled with semi-candied black cherries soaked in our Rattafia, a typical Abruzzo liqueur made with black cherries and Montepulciano wine. The double leavening gives softness to the dough and the absence of preservatives makes it highly digestible. Packaged by hand in a cloth bag and velvet ribbon

Sour Cherries

The cherries we use are distinct as they are very small, perfectly round and have a sharp flavor.

They are preserved in their own syrup which is produced in our admired vases set in the sun which embellish the window sills of our villages every summer.
